I have many good things about the white vinegar:

"The addition of 1 / 2 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle of the washing machine saves buying a separate fabric softener. Vinegar works, of course, the clothes soft and has the advantage of breaking a laundry detergent very effectively. This added value means less detergent sensitive allergies for families with sensitive skin. Do not get overwhelmed by the smell of vinegar. The smell of vinegar disappears after drying. So go ahead and try a bottle of vinegar instead of washing clothes.

The only way I know it is in the dryer to be dried.

If you do not use fabric softener, and then judge that the balls go in the dryer.

I have never used, but some say it works.

I add borax (20 Mule brand) washing, softening and drying in the dryer. I avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets to hand towels with a greasy film.
