Why do my hands go blotchy when I'm cold? - blotchy hands

Usually when I have my hands cold and the curious stains, does anyone no why?

When cold the body keeps the blood flow to vital organs and less in the hands and feet, if the stains are probably the fat is displayed on the hands.

The same thing happened to me, but I've never had a formal diagnosis by a doctor. Maybe I'll ask the next time I see my doctor ...
